About Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is based on the belief that our inner world is in part unconscious, and that these unconscious thoughts and feelings can shape our choices, patterns of behaviour and relationships.

By exploring aspects of our mental life that we are unaware of we can identify underlying conflicts, understand ourselves better, and work towards  change.

Making connections between early experiences and current behavioural patterns is an important part of this process. In this way we can foster a more integrated and authentic sense of self.

After our initial consultation, sessions will be led by whatever is on your mind and we will work together to find understanding.
